Went To Rio De Janeiro Instead Of Asia Due To Covid Closures

Rio De Janeiro Sex Travel Late 2021 Early 2022

Due to the closure of the borders in Asian countries due to the covid, I went to Rio de Janeiro twice this winter (the first time for me in South America. went only to Cuba once in 2019)

    1st trip 14th November - 6th December 2021

    2nd trip 21th January - 23th February 2022

Brazil Sex Travel Nightlife Information

Flight Paid around 500€ for the first trip and around 700€ for the second trip, both with KLM

Airbnb and apartments were the bad part of the holiday. I changed five different apartments (4 in Copacabana and 1 in Centro) and all have some problems. Noisy, old, dirty, malfunctions, etc. In the end, I spent around 35€/day on the apartment.

Brazil Holiday Highlights Things To Consider

    COPACABANA vs CENTRO

The first holiday in my stay in Copacabana. On my second holiday, I spent the first part of the holiday in an Airbnb in Centro attached to the Carioca metro, and the second part of the holiday in Copacabana between posto4 and posto5.

Although from Monday to Friday in the afternoon/evening I am always in Centro to check the brothels, I am also always on the beach in the morning. Considering the fact that all my friends live in Copacabana and considering the fact that in the evening Centro is deserted, with almost all the restaurants closed as early as 7pm. I prefer to stay in Copa more than Centro and go to Centro just to hunt for pussy. Also, Saturday and Sunday Centro is dead. Anyway, probably Centro it's safer than Copa. And if you stay in Centro it is easier to take out girls from brothels/trash to your apartment.

    MONEY EXCHANGE

Another reason why Copa is better than Centro is that the exchange rates are much better in Copa. When in Centro they changed the euro at 6.00 in Copa there were changes at 6.15 / 6.20

During the holiday I always change my euro between 6.00 and 6.20 in Copa. The first holiday the euro exchange was between 6.30 and 6.40

Credit/debit card: you can use it everywhere, also in the cheap brothels or on the beach to pay for your deckchair. I used Revolut, I must say very comfortably to avoid filling up with coins. I paid cash only in brothels, for everything else Revolut.

    METRO

Very safe and easy for me, I drove around it day and night, on both lines from Jardim Oceanico to Saens Pena and on the other line to Sao Cristovao, and never had any problems or sense of danger. The cost of the ride is 5.80R.

    UBER

It Works fine, not many cancellations and not much waiting time, and it is much cheaper than taxis. The only problem, if you are in a group, is that most uber drivers accept a maximum of 3 passengers as per Uber regulations. Some of them will make an exception if you are in a 4 for 10R tip. Others refuse to pick up 4 people. Another app is 99taxi, cheaper than Uber but also slower because there are fewer drivers.

Covid Vaccine Requirements At The Time

Beautiful Rio De Janerio

    VACCINAL CERTIFICATE

Only in the gym, tourist places like Corcovado and Sugarloaf, and in a couple of HiSo restaurants did they ask me for it, otherwise never had to show it anywhere.

Condom: bring your own condom or buy in the pharmacy. The brothels have very small and shitty condoms.

Study Portuguese: this is a must, learn it! found this very helpful https://www.youtube.com/c/SpeakingBrazilian

CPF: if you want you can go online and request your cpf at this link https://servicos.receita.fazenda.gov.br/Servicos/CPF/InscricaoCpfEstrangeiro/default.asp

full fill the form and click on ENVIAR and the confirmation page will appear with the protocol number of your request.

You needed to print the page and scan it (or take a screenshot of the page). After that you have to send an email to this address: cpf.residente.exterior@rfb.gov.br to which you attach these 3 things:

The above receipt Copy of the passport A selfie with the passport open next to your face

you will receive a confirmation email in which they will tell you that it will take a maximum of 10 days to obtain the cpf. I did it on Saturday afternoon and Wednesday morning I got the email with the cpf attached in a pdf file to print.

SIMCARD: despite the cpf it was a pain in the ass. Went to Rio Sul Mall as many people suggested to me. Went to a Tim shop, and they sold me a sim card that never worked, went there again the next day and nothing, a waste of money and time. Vivo shop said that they do not sell sim cards and have to go to shops in Copacabana, while at the shop in Copa they said the opposite. In the end, I got a Claro sim card at Rio Sul mall but it was 2 hours. Again I miss Thailand here.

Food: great and very cheap. There are a lot of buffet restaurants where you pay by the kilo. Normal restaurants have huge portions that are usually for 2 people. I fall in love with the Açai with fresh fruits, granola, and grated coconut.

Beach: I visited some beaches, Copacabana (Leme, posto 2, posto 4, posto 5), Ipanema, Leblon, Sao Conrado, Barra de Tijuca, Praia Vermelha. For me, the best beach in Copa is the baraca Rasta (n.20) in Leme always full of young girls and a very hippy beach. But the best beach is Sao Conrado in front of Rocinha, on beautiful sunny days the beach is packed with beautiful pussies. On Sundays, there is often a party in posto 13.

Safety: before going I was very paranoid about it, but the city is safer than I thought. Full of police everywhere, also full of homeless but it wasn't a problem for your safety. Of course, Brazil is not Asia, so you always must be careful about where you go with eyes behind your back. Probably the most "dangerous" place is the beach in Copacabana and Ipanema as thieves are very quick to steal things from under your nose without you noticing. At night time I always use uber, in the daytime, you can go to Centro by metro and walk around alone without problems.

Additional Important Brazil Traveling Advice

    1. Do not wear gold necklaces. Never! This is the first thing they tear and run away from you. Even during the day, on the beach, along the Copacabana seafront.

    2. Smartphone. You can use it in the street without much problem, but keep an eye looking around you and hold it firmly. Smartphone like gold necklaces is one easy thing to steal and run

    3. When you sit at the restaurant at a table along the sidewalk and have people walking next to your table, never leave your smartphone/wallet on the table.

    4. When you walk alone, no matter if it is 7pm and you are in Copa, keep an eye around you. Gangs of guys who will try to rob you are always around, so be ready to run. Happen to me twice, possibly dangerous situations where I preferred to take a run rather than risk the assault. Both times in Copa, one time in Avenida Princesa Isabela after midnight, and another one in Rua Barao de Ipanema at 8pm.

Barra de Tijuca is probably the best neighborhood for safety, then Leblon. But in Barra, you must stay near Jardim Oceanico metro station and Rua Olegario Maciel, so this is mean Barra posto 1 e 2. Barra is a huge neighborhood.

    https://www.facebook.com/estacaovidigal

Sunday is a great night here, 20R entry fee. Full of sexy girls, but there is a problem here, us gringo were invisible to the girls

Lapa: I have been there twice with ex-pat friends. In the nightlife area, in the middle of the various bars and disco pubs, there is also a brothel, the UP HOUSE NIGHT CLUB Avenida Mem de Sá 89, which I did not enter.

Full of people, a lot of ugly faces (be careful), let's say an area that did not impress me but my friends, who speak Portuguese, hooked up very easily, so I would say that my judgment is very subjective and the place should be re-evaluated with a better knowledge of Portuguese, even if the nightlife is not my style.

Leblon: Rua Dias Ferreira is full of restaurants, bars, and a disco pub with a DJ, HiSo area is full of sexy girls, and speaking Portuguese is very helpful too here.
