Southeast Asia Adult Vacation Holiday
Back to mongering in Bangkok for two nights, this time staying in Nana. I hit up Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP) in central Bangkok on Sukhumvit Road. Decided to go there both nights to keep things easier. Bar fine prices there were typical rates of 800 thb to 1000 thb. Sex ST was 3000 thb (Thai Baht). |

So I got laid both nights. I went to Spanky's, Billboards, and Twister and it's as good as it's ever been. These go-go's in Nana Plaza are generally the better ones. No issues at all this trip. Glad handed by the mamasan at Twister which was a nice touch, not that I need hand-holding but the extra effort and attention were nice. I stayed at Majestic Suites around the corner and I'm still comfortable staying here.
As far as Asian sex travel stories go that was it for this stint in the city of Angels, Bangkok. On to Vientiane, Laos!
Bangkok To Laos Changing Gears
Laos, Vientiane - Off to Laos stay two nights in the capital. My Uncle rode over the friendship bridge on his hog from his house in Nong Khai. We got pissed on the first night at a place called the Billabong Bar. I didn't punt. I had plans to visit but that changed after speaking to some locals.
Everyone agreed that BNP or Samlo after dark were the obvious favorites, but with that came some free advice that really put me off the idea. There were horror stories of getting caught with a Laotian woman who was not your wife or girlfriend. 5000 USD fine. Seems as though the hotels, tuk-tuk mafia, and the cops are all in it.
It might be true, it might be bullshit. Either way, I didn’t wanna take the risk on a 1st visit. So instead I hit the piss, discovering Beerlao like it was made just for me, I really like this beer now.
In the night after boozing, this massive thunderstorm hit. So I ruled out a visit to BNP or Samlo with the streets all covered in darkness.
The next morning the hotel wifi kicks in. I get an email from my employer and there is a redundancy offer after a 12-year stint. It's reasonable so I accept the terms and feel the weight lift. And now the holiday can really begin.
I did some tourism in the capital, I visited Wat Dam, Went to the Paxotian monument and another temple called Sisaket. I didn't punt. I stayed locally and was happy to walk around, see and meet folks.
I drank many different varieties of Beerlao. Talking to other Aussies was perhaps the best thing. Nobody is there on a tourist visa. That's bullshit. Everyone I met was working. And none of them were there on their retirement visa, it was like it didn’t seem to exist.
If I return to Laos again it won't be for punting. If I come back I'll visit some other cities like Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang.
Laos To Phnom Penh Cambodia
Cambodia, Phnom Penh - The next morning I was going to sex travel to Phnom Penh for 5 nights. Amazing. This was my third time here and I seriously can't wait to go back. I had a woman every night and the routine was sex that evening and again in the morning before breakie.
Barfines were $10 and the ST/LT was $50 USD. (I’m cautious writing that as it depends on the girl). Now chalk that up against your Bangkok prices of 1000 baht for BF and 3000 ST from Gogos.
If you don't know PP then it's a scene filled with hostess bars spread out across a few streets. 130, 136, and 104 are the best bars.
Cambodia Freelance Hookers
You can find freelancers lurking around. Fuck that. Don't. Or at least to me, I'd be lowering my own personal standards. There’s a risk. Most are on yabba yabba so yeah. Up to you.
The main disco Pontoon now charges women to get in so it's kinda dried up for freelancers. But they're still there, apparently. GSM - Golden Sorya Mall, has had major renovation work, it's all these friendly cute eateries with a few bars. I think they call it Action Street now. I didn't bother.
Since this was my third visit to PP. I followed a recommendation from a seasoned travel veteran and stayed at a nice 3-star hotel on 144 street. Ohana Hotel. Yeah, it’s 3 stars but doesn't let that put you off it was really great. Rooms, breakfast, pools, all the facilities were great and it's only two streets back from tourist trap street… I mean.. 136 street.
I hit up 104 Street the most and ventured out to 130 and 136 streets on alternative evenings.
I had a wild night in Alaska bar on 136 street. 136 street isn’t all trap, sure there are some places and even more on 130. But be savvy and find somewhere where you feel as though the ladies' attitudes match your own.
Cambodia Phnom Penh Bar Hopping & Barfines
For me, my barfines came out of 104 street. Maybe it's low season but every barfine from that street I managed to meet women still imbued with that take care attitude, and as such was a happy lad.
It was good action too. I had a couple of slim cute 24+-year-olds. ST was 50 USD. But then again I took a 32-year-old on my last two nights and she stayed till morning for the same money and I fucked her twice. Again it's that take-care attitude I seek out and I found it in spades in Phnom Penh.
